Solo mothers

A solo mother is the only adult responsible for her child or children – there is no other parent to bring in money / provide input / back-up / respite (though also no one to disagree with). Women become solo mothers through varied routes, including donor conception, a partner’s death, or the other parent’s complete absenteeism.

The boundaries are not absolute, and solo women experience very different levels of support from family and friends. Please get in touch if you’re not sure if this peer-to-peer mentoring group is for you.

We work with solo mothers as we understand the personal and professional implications of being both mum and dad: the nurturer and the provider. And because ultimately, mothers that thrive, can better help their children thrive.

Please sign up below to express interest in joining our next solo mums group. We expect to run a new group in May or June 2021.
